Across all our issues, advocacy depends on voting and elections.  Our volunteers engage in voter registration, getting out the vote (GOTV) and voter education.  In recent years, we have registered voters at community colleges in Long Beach and West Orange County, written encouraging letters or post cards to voters in Long Beach and in Florida, and presented programs such as judicial elections, election rule and procedure changes and analysis of ballot measure in addition to the voting tips you have read in our emails and publications.

 

We partner on a regular basis with the League of Women Voters to bring ballot proposition education to our members and the community.
