About the Artist:

Vivian Shimoyama, Long Beach glass fusion artist, created "Breaking the Glass Ceiling," a brooch for Secretary of State Madeleine Albright's beautiful pin collection.  This gorgeous pin is featured in Secretary Albright's book Read My Pins, which was viewed on a national and international tour. The pin and book were displayed in over 22 museums and Presidential Libraries, including the Smithsonian, NY Museum of Arts an Design, Bowers Museum, SF Museum of Modern Art, and the Clinton, FDR and Reagan Libraries.
