Academy Museum of Motion Pictures

Please join us for a field trip to the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures! We will meet at the AJCC at 9:30 am for a planned departure at 10:00 am. We will visit the Museum for a self-guided tour of the exhibits.  Sharon Brannon has already purchased a group of tickets, so you can reimburse her when you see her.  The exhibit “Significant Movies and Moviemakers: 'Casablanca," explores Casablanca’s enduring significance, its production context during WWII, the accompanying refugee crisis, and the resultant émigré stories behind this beloved classic. After visiting the Museum, we will make our way to the nearby Farmer’s Market for the many lunch opportunities it provides. For security reasons at the AJCC, registration is required.
